I'm originally from Charleston, and this may be the best Charleston video I have ever seen! Living in Atlanta now but going to see my family next week. I forgot just how beautiful the city is, and I plan to spend some time sightseeing again. Thank you!

Absolutely loved this. We live an hour South of Charleston but rarely get up there, unfortunately. The last time we were there, we had an amazing 40 mile walk around the battery (I might exaggerate a bit) and then an amazing lunch at Fleet. Charleston is amazing. Have you done a Savannah tour? I looked and didn't see it.

FYI live oaks trees aren’t just on the east coast. They go from Central Texas to the east coast Carolina’s. We are famous for our in New Orleans

If your from anywhere up north skip this area. Baltimore looks nicer. It’s a tourist trap. The entire outskirts of charelston are trailer parks. Beach is 45 minutes away and they charge you $40 to park. Go to nashville, Austin, Santa fe, savannah even pheonix has more of a country vibe. All the store’s found on kings street can be found at your local mall for free. Save your money and time. The market is the only cool spot here.

They don't call it "North Charleston Trailer Trash" for nothing. At one time South Carolina had more trailers per capita than any other state. The beach communities make it as difficult for visitors to visit the beaches as possible. Lived on Trade Street for 12 years. At least they closed the smelly paper plant from what I hear.

@@kennixox262 and we miss those trailer parks. Sad they removed them for more cookie cutter homes.

@@ryanwalters6184 Like all the lovely starter homes from the early 1980's off of Ashley Phosphate Road? The area around Dorchester Road @ Remount Roads was always so lovely as well as that "little" area of loverly trailer parks between Rivers Avenue and the AFB. Full disclosure, was stationed at JT Base Charleston for 12 long years . The moment I retired, I high tailed it to Las Vegas. Everything is legal here and few Bible Thumpers, Linsey (I have a few stories to tell about him) Graham. One presumes that Charlie Hall, the TEE VEE weatherman is giving the weather report from Heaven?

@@kennixox262 i stayed in an airbnb right off of remount road and it looked like a third world country. our uber driver was hesitant to take us down this block and i grew up in kensington philadelphia that looks like iraq. the only difference is the government maked philadelphia look likr that. south carolina is just dirty because the people are dirty. It’s actually upsetting to see parts of America like this.

Love the information., However, Live Oaks are alive in well in Texas, which isn't on the East Coast.
