In a way, I wish I'd never heard this music before. I went through a serious growing experience as a teenager obsessing over Elliott Smith, The Beatles, Built To Spill, Modest Mouse, Pavement, etc, and I certainly wouldn't be who I am today if I hadn't been that person before, but still, I just wish I could hear that music like it was still new to me.

You can upon slim chance of copping some quality Fungi or paper. Espesho w The White Album and Sarg Pep LHCB. Glad i have the memories from them thurr days amazing spillage how they were built. But yea i gotcha, there is so much music awaiting I bet you found some dope gems since 5 yrs ago

Yep. Ruben's part in forward changed my life in 2002 by introducing me to Built to Spill.

Seen them many times and each time is better and better! The first time was in 1996 at La Luna in Portland and the following night at a free show at Reed college both nights were amazing! Saw them at the Wow Hall in Eugene in 2002 and at Key Arena during Bumpershoot in Seattle both shows were top notch! They are one of my favorite bands ever!

I couldn't agree more! I love this band, didn't really know of them, I'm ashamed 2 say, until 2012 when I heard "STAB". I also luv "Keep It Like A Secret", Carry the Zero is a fave, but Stab is awesome.

Best thing to come out of Idaho besides the potato. The Salmon and Snake rivers are nice too, but viewing them while listening to Built to Spill only compounds the beauty. Be sure to look at the Sawtooth range while going against your mind.

I discovered this song years ago while watching a video of Ruben Alcantara in Etnies Forward, I fell in love of it, maybe cos was fitting perfectly with that video, I'm not really sure, but it gave me always goosebumps. Especially when that arpeggio begins at 2.31, it's just perfect.
