For non- Boise fans: the inside scenes were filmed in the El Korah Shrine temple in Boise, specifically the ladies bathroom, which is a fun, cozy, plush time capsule. The end stage is the main room of the building, which has been around since the 19th century.

@@korypo303 Not a dumb question at all! Yes, Boise born and raised. Doug was actually my neighbor until a few months ago :) And yes, I've enjoyed the El Korah ladies bathroom many times! It's a calm and cozy sanctuary.

I'm coming back here to say that I'm in love with this song, what an incredible melody, incredible lyrics and spectacular composition, I listen to this song every day. the guitar solo is stuck in my mind we love Built To Spill so much. Soon the album will be released

Out of all of the Built to Spill music videos this one is by far my favorite, while Never Be The Same and In The Morning are close contenders and Hindsight is in its own class, this video is fantastic with Doug embracing what he is and Teresa and Melanie making cameos. Everything is perfect. And ofc the sound rocks as well. Also Harry Canary!!!!!!!

This song perfectly fits my current life situation. Life is so fucking meaningless, but that isn't exactly news to me. I wonder how the hell everyone around me is able to be optimistic. When I finally figure out a way to do it, I realize I'm just deluding myself. Which feels gross... but at the same time, everyone around me looks at me like I'm a fucking freak for seeing things for what they are. The people I think I want to be around, only want to be there if I do delude myself. So I guess. There isn't much of a choice... Thank you, Doug. And thank you Built to Spill. My world feels a little bit less lonely today... I hope you guys come back to Charlotte soon. It was great to see you. Excited to see you play the new album, next time around.
