So much authenticity and humility...just getting to know Buju thanks to the roots genre of his works. My brother is a DJ so I've heard all of the music at our family gatherings plus my own intensives on you tube. So important to stay authentic while doing the thing you love and using it as a platform to educate, uplift and communicate social issues....Can see and hear the growth as a person

I grew up loving Beenie Man and then got into Buju. I love Beenie but Buju is more earthy and spiritual and down to earth. He says he doesn't see himself as a king or bigger than no man. He never forgot where he came from
