I hear people say Buju didn’t buss artist. Count the number of people who play in his band. You know how many families eat when he plays and goes on tours. He don’t just tour with a Gucci Bag and a laptop and couple yes men. These are real professionals in his band. I guess people want to see him pose up with a bag of man around one table drinking Hennessy. He has a studio, what does the talkers have? Big respect to Buju Banton for inspiring who wants to be inspired and not looking handouts. KING 👑!!

The man has been in jail for 10 years, yet still he returns as if he just took a likkle break and now decided to pick up the mic again. I could go on forever about buju's music and the way it has grown, even though he was away for such a long time, but anybody that was a teenager in 90s as a fan of Reggae-Dancehall, especially if you are connected to Jamaican culture through your parents knows exactly what I'm talking. Big up Buju everytime!!!!

but he did grab the mike that the other guy had just grabbed and was talking into so all that social distancing with the band means nothing. My boy from waaay back though. I remember the first day after he released Browning and he was just a skinny kid doing the rounds to promote it and he came into Joe Gibbs with a box full of 45s asking me if i wanted some. I took one listen and took all 300 from his car. He was so happy. I knew he would be a star from that moment. BLUE seh so. Big up Chunnie, and and ET (RIP) and the crew from back in the day. Buju, the GOAT indeed.

Sleepless Nights is one of the most underrated reggae love songs ever. Every time I hear that song it gives me flash backs. Such a powerful song for any man who ever do a woman wrong.
