BULB LASAGNA PLANTING PROJECT. Today I will share a very clever way of planting different spring bulbs in one container which will result in several months worth of flowers. The horticulture experts call this bulb planting ‘bulb lasagne'. Like lasagna, it is the process of plating bulbs in different layers.
BULB LASAGNE or Bulb Lasagna is a great way to give maximum flower power in a small space. This video guide shows viewers the process of creating a layered spring container display that starts with Mixed Daffodils, followed by pink Tulips.

I love to see people who garden recycle materials they others would have thrown away! This is a very interesting project! I’ve always been scared to put my bulbs together because of the roots but you’ve given me the courage to do so. Wonderful video!

Yeah . two things: reusing those styros is responsible. I also agree with you about packing those pots full of bulbs. Update us Louie

Thank you, I just planted two layers of bulbs, not sure if it will work. WOW! . you answered that question. Now, I will ask you about buying those large bags from the market, I had no idea you could buy those, guess you just need to ask. Love your Gigantic Turquoise pots, my birthstone, I painted my sunroom the same color, matched a necklace from my Mother. Do post a photo when your pots are in all their glory. Will check later.

Thanks Jean! Glad you tried the bulb lasagna method as well. I’ll try to post a much recent one. But I also showed in one of the spring garden tours the result of this content’s project. I love our turquoise pots! I don’t think I’ll ever change this color. Gives the long elevated garden some punch! Thanks for being a part of the circle. Happy gardening and best to you !😃😀🙋🏻♂️
