This movie moved and touched me at some many different levels... It's captured the true sentiments n desires of a woman's heart... Which is actually so simple... All a woman truly yearns for is companionship... That's what Bulbul used to yearn for with her relationship with Satya... But alas there are hardly any men who can understand this simple desire of a woman !

when bulbull said "kya didi sab kharab kar dete ho" it is actually true asal me toh sab kharab karne wali toh ye chhoti bahu hi thi jisne thakur ko bulbul aur satya ke khilaf bhadkaya and satya ko door bhej diya aur jab satya wapas aaya tab bhi isne hi toh satya ko bhadkaya tha ....She is equally a villian in this whole story

Wahi toh baat hai na, jis time ki ye story hai uss time auraton ko ek doosre ke khilaaf bhadkaaya jaata tha, kyunki unko wahi shiksha milti thi ki tumhaare pati ke alaawa tumhara aur koi apna ho hi nahi sakta. She too was a victim of the patriarchal norms of the society.

She never got what she deserved. She took care of the house, his mental husband and needs of his brother-in-law (I mean it's so weird to take care of BIL's sexual need) and in return she never got that respect and position as per she did rather Bulbul got those all without doing anything. The whole wrong treatment came out as rage, jealousy and revenge. She wasn't much wrong even.

I was literally so mad at me after watching this movie for not watching Laila majnu ...I mean I remember I didn't even watch the trailer , did not even give it a chance .....ufff.....I would have disrespected all these actors' work if it wasn't for this movie.....

There were two phases of bulbbul one before cutting her wings and another after it,tripti did both of them so beautifully. She portrayed the innocence the rawness and then the arrogance with so diligence, I wasn't expecting her to be this good. I watched qala and yea must say she's only getting better.

Did any bengali noticed that this film has a huge similarities with the novel 'debi' ( goddess) written by Humayun Ahmed? Concept of savings people by Devi ma is very much similar with the novel.. In this film bulbbul got the power from Kali... In the novel'debi' ... Ranu gets her power from goddess Gourokali.. almost under a similar circumstances...than nilu gets the power

Their are no any romantic scene between Bulbul and Sat ya but the feeling of Bulbul for Sat ya shown so nicely. Every women's heart touch this feelings. Photography also so beautiful. Specially in the night dark jungle. After watch this movie it takes time to return in normal life.
