That was funny as hell when the bull kept kicking the gate open.

Bulls always made me nervous. I didn't deal with pure breds back in the day but had respect for them. Liked your drone shots!!

We started buying our bulls from one breeder and now we can pet them, give them shots and call them up easily. They have gotten out onto my neighbors farm and he had a few cows in heat and when I called and shook a bucket they came a running but I'm sure they were done his bull was in the woods hiding 😅We are really careful not to corral them unless it's necessary but a bag of apple treats can change attitudes on a lot of them and it's worth it . We can call each herd and they follow the rtv great video . Found your channel looking at different vertical mixers we are tired of 300 a ton feed so we are getting a mixer

As soon as they flinch grab that ear and give a good hard twist. Instant attitude adjustment.

Hi long time no see ! Good looking bulls ! Will that bull stay around after he’s done for the season? Hope your getting rain up there ? Eastern South Dakota is hot and dry everyday is right at 100 and no rain 🥵🥵🥵
@DiamondHeartRanch3 жыл бұрын
We’ll probably will keep him. He’s a good bull just a bad temperament. We’re getting a little rain to keep us going. Hot here too.

I’ll probably keep him. We get nice calves from him. Just have to be careful around him. We’ll see. If he is bad this fall maybe give him wheels.

@@DiamondHeartRanch old timer down the road said If they don't want to be here I don't want them here . If I call them and they don't come apparently they don't like this farm and need to go to another If they try one thing while I'm out there they get a free bus ride to town and I do mine the same way when my son starts uploading the videos of the cows it's amazing how simple it is to move them anywhere it took us several years to get here and it's effortless now we have them in sets of 60 and you can just pull in each herd and call them and they will beat you to the corral pens

No we test our bulls usually a month before turnout in case we need to get another one. I try and have at least one extra.
