@@78freewheeler my dad has a 20ft bullet with the 2.5 promax race engine. Has an aftermarket block so now it’s pushing between 250-300hp. First time I went in it was in our local river system. No other boat traffic. Mofo would hit 85 with ease. It was fairly smooth. My dad said it’ll do atleast 95. He hasn’t done a top speed run with the new block tho.

You say that jokingly, but down here on the Tennessee river in the heart of bullet and Allison country we used to have guys pay to enter weeknight tourneys just to race. No lie. They’d get out there, see who won then turn around and go home

Not sure if you noticed but it's looks like they run over a shallow hump . You can see the lake bottom on starboard side at 2:22 min into video. Be safe

reminds me of my last tournament we were told "do not to pass people" but talked to the director at the end and he said that if were going to pass people just dont be dumb and we ended up passing 15 people before going to our main spot ( 4 of them were Deep v boats ) so more like 11

Gotta start somewhere and Stratos hull Designs were no joke. Earl knows how to make a fast hull, and the 201 hull only spurred a couple brands like Phoenix (721) and Falcon with their Phoenix splash (215)

Yes was 2 spots looked shallow but water looks clear so was atleast foot an a half to 2 and a half. And as fast as he's going only has maybe few inches of the boat in the water if any mostly riding on motor. He easily could have went in a foot of water as long no logs or rocks. He'd have to stay on plane

Hear stuff like this all the time. I fish tournaments on lake huron also. It's one of those boats that because its fast ppl think " it must be terrible in waves" There actually pretty impressive in waves. It has to get pretty rough to get passed. Keep in mind i can run with the motor full trimmed down and still be over 80mph. 2 footers nothing is passing me, 3 footers now its starting to get closer, in 4+ footers i'll get passed by those big bass boats with drivers that don't care pounding there boats.

Kind of a dick move to do a dangerous fly by on someone only 15ft apart. I guess its ok for the unexpected boater to eat your wake when hes maxed out. Common courtesy or proper boater etiquette apparently isnt your 1st priority.

We won AOTY 7 years in a row, won every major tournament in our area. Having a fast boat makes a difference. Nothing to do with egos. It’s a advantage.

I can make longer runs as I can run 100mph. takes less time between spots, on big body’s of water it’s a huge advantage. I always get to my first spot first. I do not have to worry about someone beating me to the spot.

The tournament was held on the wrong end , so time we get to where the fish are it's time to go back, after 3 cast, but we look good on the water ,the guy in the John boat they past 5 miles back has a cooler full, oh that's right his line was in the water ,hmmmm

Dude this video is 7 fucking minutes long. Stop being a smartass. No ones filling up there cooler in 7 mins especially in a little John boat taking 3 mins just so get into the cove. You have way more room to where you can fish and these tournaments are like 6-8 hours. His boat is bad ass. And he’s got a better chance of catching one sooner than anyone cause he got to the other side faster (everyone ran over there)
