Күн бұрынI am using a Happy Planner as my Bullet Journal for 2018 and I thought I'll show you the steps I took to create my frankenplanner. This is a multi part series and in this first part I will show you how I created my custom dividers and tabs for my bujo.

That's exactly why I bullet journal in the Michael's recollection planner. I like being able to put my own paper in and move things around :) Love that you recycled an existing planner to use this year!

You did great!!! I love it especially for the upcycling and DIY nature of it. I plan to take my 2017 planner and cut it up for Project Life cards.

I love this! I may have to try this. I'm changing to a Big Happy Planner for my go-to catch all but I can use the Classic cover and rings for a BuJo. I have a ton of scrapbook cardstock I can use for dividers.

I use a Happy Planner as a BuJo aswell - though I use the actual pages too with some modifications :) Such as replacing the currently page with dot grid and keeping my tracker and notes there, and adding extra dot grid pages and sections.

I love the "happy bujo" idea. Also I need to get me some of that galaxy scrapbook paper! OMG! I might have a paper hoarding problem myself. I buy them because I love them and then they are TOO PRETTY TO USE! >.

YES exactly! You get me 😭 They're too pretty and I don't want to "waste" it so I don't use them...which is actually wasting it 🤦♀️

My planner is a ring binder, so it's always been a hybrid - the pages that came with it plus everything else that seems useful at any given time. Sometimes the system needs refinement, and things need to be moved. :)

KatheD That's the ultimate personalized planner. I'm still figuring out what's most effective for my Happy Bujo but I'm loving it so far ☺

The Modest Cat I really enjoy it! I three sections, a schedule section for my weekly and monthly views, a personal section for my trackers, collections etc and a third section for all my blank paper. I'll either make my own weekly spreads or use the vertical happy planner spreads. Lately I've been making 'week on one page' spreads. Haha. I love how versatile it is and so easy to change up as your planning style changes. I've been using my system for a little over a year now. I hated the traditional planner set up from the beginning to immediately changed it before I even knew what a bujo was. Lmao. I love what you're doing with yours so far! Those dividers are so cute.

I feel like I'm watching one of my friends BuJo. You're so relatable and, I'm not trying to sound rude when I say this, but it looks neat without looking too professional (I mean, you obviously are but it's like different). does that make sense? like, it just is so chill and pretty and fun and ATTAINABLE! there are some channels where I start to get bummed out like, yeaaahhhh I could never do that. They're fun to watch but sometimes I want to see spreads I can actually accomplish. Or maybe I just REALLY relate to the fun of cutting out pretty paper, because yeah, I'm that person too. I love this idea of hybrid-ing your planner with your BuJu and this is really inspiring. K, rambling over. haha thank you! Subscribing :)

I love this tutorial! Did you ever finish the walkthrough? I can’t find more videos on it, but I’d love to see how you make it a combo Happy Planner and Bullet Journal. I’m working on my 2019 journal now. Your style is a lot like mine!!

I use a happy bujo too. I still use the happy planner pages but also have a section just for bujoing. Can't wait to see more. Do you use the happy planner pages?
