I don't care what others say, I really wish they were the endgame. XiangLiu's character is so brave and selfless when it comes to XiaoYao that it makes me hurt for him. No one else sacrificed as much as him when it came to her and that just hits different. XiangLiu is more terrified of losing XiaoYao than death...

XLiu is Tonghua's (writer) most important male character, she said so herself in interviews, she create this 'XiangLiu" character out of her love with the character itself, hoping it stays in her reader mind the same, the main point of the storyline is she express how she Lost him (XiangLiu) forever❤ bow down to Tonghua..i got her meaning very well 🙌

In the novel which is not conveyed here in drama, she gave him many chances and took the first step numerous times. It was him who stepped back because he knew they could never be. In reading the novel I interpreted it to be he knew she could and would fall in love with him deeply and when he died (and he would as he was fated to due to his choice following his adopted father) he knew she would be devastated and heartbroken.

She did took the first initiative first time but he stepped back every time. He knew even though he had 9 lives he couldn't accompany her forever bcz he knew he would die in war eventually. Maybe that's why the title is Lost you forever.

@@Ish.j09actually the drama is based on 3 books. One for each of the male leads. The first one is Lost You Forever for Xuan. The second is Love You Forever for Jing. The 3rd is Miss You Forever for XL. I think the title of XL's book alone speaks volumes. I'm not so sure she would have chosen Jing in the long run if XL had been able to fulfill his promise to his foster father by winning the final battle (the one he died in) and he had been able to then live as his alias FFB. XY was always saying how she wished he could be FFB. Unfortunately, I don't think that the drama will be exploring these "ifs", although I did hear they filmed 3 different endings. Sadly, we've all seen the BTS clips of XL covered in blood fighting his final battle, the one where he dies. 🙁

They really break my heart. As far as I'm concerned they are the true love story of this drama. Doesn't matter who she ends up with at the end of the day. They have the most iconic and memorable scenes. I know chemistry is subjective, but for me, they also have the best chemistry in the drama. This edit showcased everything I love about them. It's so beautiful and heart-wrenching and I actually teared up from it.

this is a beautiful edit! ppl may not notice it but the conversation u included here the one about xiaoyao scared of letting xiangliu slip inside her dream is a confession from her of how she feels for him. it's very clear who she loves. and that love i believe will continue to live on a lifetime even if one person is already gone.

XiangLiu gave her his heart risked his heart to be crashed into million pieces and feel her pains he’s connected to her in a deep bond that other men in the story aren’t .. first the bugs worked and went automatically to her « brother » because he’s her first love but when she moved the bugs and gave them to XiangLiu they could move because it means her love to XiangLiu is stronger and she’s connected with him but she doesn’t admit it to herself cause otherwise the bugs wouldn’t work their magic 😏

XL deserves unconditional love and happiness! The things he's done for her trumps all other bad things he's ever done to her. Had she paid attention she would see through his "I don't care" facade. I don't blame the female lead though given what she knows, it's not enough for her to actually know what's really going on... I wish he would atleast live! He would have healed eventually then he would have found someone who will love him just as much as he does her

I agree with XY, XL isn't the kind of man a woman should fantasize about. I'm not saying his love is dangerous no, his love is pure and genuine but loving him is the most dangerous part for a woman's heart, like playing with fire 🔥 it helps you warm up, protect you, give you power, security, light... But still it can burn you at any instant. Remember, such love, like fire, can be both destructive and transformative. The key is to approach it with awareness, respect, and open communication to maximize its positive potential while minimizing the risks. And we all know XY wouldn't risk it with her personality, she'd choose the safest path...

He asked Xiao Yao to leave everything to be with him.. but he himself is not ready to do it.. and if xiao yao did leave everything.. what do he think.. they could have a carefree life with both xuan and hauling kings hunting them and Xioa Yao's biological father also doesn't have a fabulous reputation either. She will be in danger from all sides. Still she dare to say that she'll leave but he also need to forsake everything..fair deal! He instead should have asked his stupid adopted father to stop fighting and live a peaceful life with him. In real life, if I were Xiao Yao I wouldn’t choose any of them. They’re all weird. Jing started irritating me after 20 episodes, he gets manipulative sometimes, ghosts her, and even when he realises he can’t have her, he still doesn’t want her to find her happiness with someone else. He’s so indecisive and slow. He got on my nerves in some parts. Xiang Liu was abusive at first but then like a peony blossom opened up to her and his character development was insane. He grow on me gradually. He is a type of guy who genuinely wants you to be happy and safe, even if it means you’ll be separated. His love is selfless. He clearly had avoidant detachment style in the series. He knew he couldn’t give up Chenrong Army because of his debts to his foster father, that’s why he didn’t pursue XY. He didn’t want her to fall in love with him and then suffer. That’s why I kinda like him much more than Jing. And of course, XY and Xiang Liu had the best chemistry of all

I knew that TSJ is a good guy, soft, clever & kindhearted. Can see XY happy with him. But the love, the feel. It just mehhhh. I love XL & XY & hoping that they will end together. Coz XY can be her true self whenever with him. Compare to TSJ & XL love, XL is the winner. Even his words were harsh, but he always there for her, sacrifice everything including his life. But faith never with them. Im so sad. I cant move on. I thought LYF season 2 will have changes. I hope XL could let go the responsibilities & be with her 😢😭

Siempre he defendido la adaptación para esta serie, cuando tienes un pedazo de actor, que hace brillar el dorama, que hay millones de personas(otras no estarán de acuerdo) que quieren que siga actuando, que queremos un final feliz, y para nosotros fans de XIANG LIU y xiaoyao un final feliz es poder estar con la persona que amas, por amor renunció a matarla en el agua, por amor se enfrentó al ejército de su primo cuando se la llevaron a ella y seventeen y fue a salvarla, por amor no la mató con el arco y tampoco a su primo, a seventeen podría haberlo matado, no lo hizo por ella, también se puso el bicho del corazón y perdío una vida para salvar la vida de xiaoyao. Como pudo darle ese final?, y lo peor, sabiendo el éxito de jianji, porque no hacen una adaptación del final al menos? El ha demostrado que cuando amas, es incondicionalmente, y creo que si podrían haber quedado juntos incluso en el libro, si la escritora hubiese cambiado simplemente un poquito el argumento, el dejara de ser mercenario y guerrero (si ella lo amara y tuviera oportunidad seguro lo habría hecho) y ella fuera capaz de ver la realidad y sentir lo que el siente para saber todo lo que la ama, podrían haber dejado todo y empezar de 0 en otro lugar y ser felices y una hermosa familia. Una decepción repito para mi, si yo fuera el director, cojo s los guionistas y escritora y digo :prácticamente somos éxito de taquilla gracias a esta pareja, todo el mundo o casi todos saben el final, cambiemoslo y ponemos otro alternativo y que acaben juntos, no sólo sorprendes a la audiencia si no que tendría que hacerse un mueble para los premios. Though Xiaoyao loves Xianglu i dont understand why she hurt him by saying that he is not the type of man to be in a girls dream.That shattered him completely and i feel then he stepped back.Otherwise he could have tried to take a way out to be with her and nobody would have a chance with her then as the attraction between them is so plalpable and strong.
