I only heard a bullfrog once, and it scared the bejesus out of me. I was golfing in Kansas City and I walking over a bridge with a swamp down below. At the time, I had never heard or seen a bullfrog. I heard a croak, and it was so loud, it echoed throughout the swamp. I asked my buddy “what the f*ck was that?!” He said “look down.” About twenty feet below, there was a bullfrog the size of a football half buried in the mud. Kinda cool!

I have one in my swamp and I swear he's a big guy, his croak is very low and slow.. it's super bassy and is really loud. I love it!
