I don't think people really know what happened. The Bulls played an overall air tight gameplan.. but the real difference was the absolute dominance of the forward pack! Crash ball after crash ball the looked like they wanted to rug straigt through every man. The tackles were dominant.. and all of this against a team that are very good at stopping anyone in the world.

Gutted Leinster fan, but well done to the bulls. There is a reason not even prime McCaw and Carter could win at Loftus. It’s a totally different environment. We gave it a go, but it just wasn’t to be. That’s sport, and the margins are so fine. Tough to take, as we’ve been inches short over the last three years, a few things going our way and we’d be talking about multiple trophies, instead it’s time to pick ourselves up and go again. Nice to see some positive interactions in the comments. A lot of fans, on both sides, get dragged down by media narratives and a small cohort of online nonsense but the vast majority of Leinster, Irish, Bulls and SA fans are true rugby fans and there is a mutual respect there. You guys have achieved everything we want to achieve, and as a young rugby nation who were failing to win games when you were winning WCs, we want that one day. Hopefully most of you know it’s not arrogance to want to achieve more, simply trying to find our feet in a sport we are only now getting to a position where we can compete for something more.
