It's crazy how much drive to survive portrays the drivers. When I watched it I instantly disliked Max he seemed like a spoiled entitled brat. But during the season he has honestly turned into one of my favorite drivers. He is young but he is just a genuine good guy who loves racing and leaves it all on the track. I have nothing but respect for that.

I love this comment. As a fan of the sport for a long time, I was so looking forward to Drive to Survive but felt sick after watching it. Nothing is more compelling than showing people as they truly are, instead they specifically edited Max to look like an absolute asshole instead of one of the greatest drivers AND characters on the grid.

Good points. The media in general are good at portraying people in a positive or negative light depending on their agenda. It is always good to scrutinize what you see on TV as they have been known to promote false narratives.

It's the fact that the current Red Bull drivers were once promoted from Toro Rosso mid-season, and the current Toro Rosso drivers were once demoted from Red Bull mid-season, replaced by their counterparts on Red Bull currently. It's like Red Bull and Toro Rosso swapped positions.

Drivers that would have never been in F1 without RedBull, before RedBull only the best (a few) and people who bring money drove F1 cars, and again, mid season change doesn't change anything, in football you can be set back during seizon also, many many sports, again it's sport and I know that disappointment is new for millennials but to bad and get over it, without RedBull they would have never driven a F1 car

just went to watch silverstone highlights again order of events: 1. both pit on the same lap under normal racing conditions 2. RB mega pitstop, max managed to jump leclerc 3. max went wide right immediately, leclerc got past 4. only now did the safety car come out due to gio's spin at vale, max got past again because leclerc pit a lap later 5. then vets mistake

Hello, Lewis & Mercedes fanboy here. But I must say, I love the whole sport in general that I can respect each team and driver to the maximum. But I really want to say, I enjoyed this ! These two at the future!!!! So talented and fast. I know Max.V face to face last year in Austin. That he will soon become a world champion. Just wait on it. And it’s so great to see Alex come in and make a statement that he has the talent too.

Dare I say it, these 2 might just be the best teammate pairing out there. Both extremely talented, and extremely funny too! Can't wait to see the on and off track antics for 2020, hopefully with a lot of winning involved for both drivers! And hopefully an Alex win at Silverstone too, cause my favourite driver winning on my birthday weekend at my home track, things wouldn't get much better than that!

I think Rosberg saw the writing on the wall as far as Max being the new up and coming F1 driver which might have made his decision easier but Rosberg is the only person to beat Lewis in the last 6 years so he didnt look stupid at all !

Being an F1 fan for years, I was already excited about his father Jos Verstappen and still are a fan of him :-) So following Max through the years via different kind of media was an extended interest because of his father and I honestly think he is a genuine good guy, never got a different impression through the years. How can he not be seeing his mother with racing in her blood also :-) He is totally fanatic about his racing and very very good at it. Some documentaries don't show the people at their best, that's why we viewers always must remember, they did put a documentary show together, not a neutral in-depth registration of the facts as they happen. I hope Red Bull Racing will have a wonderful year!

I am looking forward to next season and I expect Max and Alex to supply lots of excitement for fans and maybe a bit of frustration for Mercedes. Congratulations on the Rookie of the Year award Alex. I've been a fan since the Chinese GP. Congratulations to Max for his success this year as well, you made me a fan in Brazil 2016. That was an awesome drive. I'm hoping for more rain in 2020. I have to congratulate Honda also. They've come a long way.

It's really amazing to see how max has been improving from dangerous rookie to deserving champion for a longer run. Last time I remember someone doing the same was Hamilton. Yes, I'm Hamilton fan, but before that I'm a fan of F1. So I don't think anybody else other than Max who can beat Hamilton in the championship. Can this be in 2020?
