Thank you, beautifully done! Reminds me of my younger years, I ran across and old salt at a bar in Newport, we got to talking and I found out he was retired Navy at 35 years and he also knew my grandfather from Newport who was retired Navy. He told me back when the Navy was in town full force (Pre-Nixon), Lower Thames Street used to be called blood alley because there were bars every 30 feet and beer was 5 cents a full size mug, not the tea-spoons you get today. He said with less than a dollar in your pocket, you could zig zag your way down blood alley and if you made it past the SP's you would be devastated at the end.
