The stairs at the front of the Ryanair 738's are built into the fuselage and they are indeed steeper than the rear stairs which are mobile & belong to the airport . Christy 🇮🇪/🇵🇹 👍

Great vlog mick,soooo quite at john lennon which is great,woman behind you while filming on the plane🙈🤣in one of the macmaster recent travel vlog he was told he couldn't film in duty free which he thought was odd especially as Andrew does everytime he goes to any airport🤷‍♂️enjoy your time in tenerife 🙂👍

I have noticed the Ryan air flights we had to and from Bristol to Tenerife (in October and April we got back last Friday were really bumpy lol I agree about our forces doing the best ceremonials in the world. I am a naval wife and our best friend was in the ceremony marching, he came round Sunday night to watch the concert and told us what it took to get ready for the day, really proud of him and all of the forces that took part. Was spectacular!

Generally the Ryanair aircraft use their built in steps at front port side. They probably are much steeper as they have to fold up into a opening below the door and fly with the aircraft. A rare luxury is Ryanair using an airbridge which is very rare even with one existing at the front. The rear steps can greatly differ between airports and step settings, some can even be long ramps so step less such as Kerry Airport. So there is logic to your observations 😊

@@brinleythornton7744 their rear stairs at Dublin Airport for example their rear stairs are purpose built exclusively for their aircraft type and design, which is much cheaper and more reliable fixed design. Ah well they are good at what they do Ryanair, with no major life ending crashes yet, rather remarkable. Stats probably would indicate they are probably due one, it’s definitely something the management worry, as safety record is a key selling point.

Your Dad is right about the stairs on Ryanair. They are steeper at the front as they retract into the aircraft. The back stairs are provided by the airport.

Great vlog Garvey. I love flying from Liverpool airport too (as a 'local' from Widnes) but can't help worrying if it's that quiet all the time, can it sustain itself as a business? Hope so because it's just so convenient. We had a Ryanair bumpy landing in Tenerife years ago. Swerved all over the runway. I'm not a nervous flyer but that was scary. Landed in Tenerife yesterday! The approach to landing was seriously turbulent. I was bricking it not gonna lie! Thankfully we flew with BA and the landing was butter smooth! Found out a Ryan air had to do a go around before us. Gotta love BA!

Ryanair use their own built in stairs on the front door and use the airport provided ones on the rear, hence the rear ones are generally less steep.

As you will probably know by now, unless you are getting an average on the plane, you should always get on the bike because the stairs that comes out of the front of the plane and touchdown is very steep because they can only have a certain size that will fold up and go inside the plane so four people with any type of element. You are always better to go on the back of the plan even if your seat is at the front you can always walk through or if you are really bad then you can ask for assistance and they will take you on the wagon lift it up and you just walk on or in your case stride on boys

Steps are definitely less steep at the rear, I always travel with Jet2 as there stairs are less steep, front or back. I have leg weakness and it definitely makes a difference, it’s alright for the young striders like Andrew…he’ll know when the time comes 🤣👍🏾

It’s true about the rear stairs, they are wider and less steep than the front, I discovered it when I had a sciatica episode after sitting for 4 and a half hours and couldn’t feel anything in my right left just numbness, the stewardess‘s helped me to the rear steps and said that there is less of a steep gradient and they are wide enough for a wheelchair and we’re used in the past, before health and safety went mad and where there blame, there’s a claim culture started, to ease egress/exit for passengers who needed assistance. So M to the G is correctamundo!

I think Garvey dose not understand that Ryanair pilots don’t know how to do a smooth landing, if you want a smooth landing you will be charged extra ahaha.
