With Boo, she didn’t get her just due for several reasons but still undeniably was a huge pioneer for female hip hop in the South. Growing up I respected Boo and, like most guys, thought she was very attractive. The one thing that I could not reconcile with her was the “Devil’s Daughter” mantra she pushed. That’s why I never could fully embrace DJ Paul and Juicy J growing up. What’s crazy is DJ Screw used to mess with all the Memphis rappers except Three 6 Mafia. Never had 1 3-6 song on a screw tape, but every other Memphis rapper been on screw tapes. Screw even shouted out Tommy Wright III. I always believe he never wanted to promote that “666 sh*t “even though he prolly liked their music. So with Lola, I just remember how she was very intelligent, talented and pioneer for female hip hop down south and her beauty…that’s bout it. Far as Bun, bro your legacy is beyond good! Trust me…lots of us know there’s another side to all the allegations that made on you about your relationship with Pimp at the end. Lot of it I know you can never speak on publicly. A number of female rappers never got they just due. I'm thinking Rah Digga, Yo-Yo, Mia-X, Bahamadia, etcetera. If you're my age (37 & older) then I know you know how dope Bahamadia was.
