He's a tremendously fantastic striker. From his days in the Spurs academy and going on loan spells in the english championship, which wasn't easy, he shone once he got into stride in EPL. If he stays healthy, he rarely gets injured except for that ankle issue, which seems to be in the past. You'd understand why Levy was reluctant to release him and why Bayern paid a lot to get him. Goals. And he can pass too. Well done, Bayern Munchen. I'm glad you have a proper number 9 and all the best for Kane to surpass this record.

Both incredible players but Kane has been one of my favourite players for 7/8 years now his all around game is just incredible, not just his goals but the way he can pass and bring teammates into the game too. The record would be nice for him personally to break but I don't think it matters much. Shame I can no longer watch Kane in the Premier League though, we have Daniel Levy to thank for that.

I remember when Harry Kane signed, I was telling everyone that he is exactly the type of striker that Bayern Munich needed. When Lewandowski left to Barcelona, he left a gap in the striker position that players like Muller or Mane or Gnabry could not really fill the same way despite their quality. While Kane isn’t identical, he is a similar profile of player to Lewa and others like Benzema - a very clinical and highly composed technical poacher. Perfect in a 4-2-3-1 with speedsters on the wing, just like Bayern ❤️

I was a bit skeptical of Kane in the beginning. Although i am pleasantly surprised I still wait for half or full season to judge how consistent he is. I have to say that those goal + assist numbers are crazy so far. I wish he breaks the record (more goals for my team are welcome) but i doubt it. There's no doubt Kane is a better all round team player than any other elite striker.

Lewandowski had it rough starting out. Playing in the Polish weak league ain't no cakewalk compared to Kane in the English setup. The competition there is on a whole different level. Lewa had to grind harder, coming from a less flashy league, and making the leap to the big stage was no walk in the park. Kane had a smoother ride in the early days.
