Billing for different specialties give you a vast knowledge about Healthcare. How do you like it? Do you have any favorites?

See when we get get a denial for bundle, it come back as; payment for separate service bundled. So, whatever Cot code is denying, we have to send out to our coders ask a question.

Yes that's usually how it goes since the coders arr the ones responsible for choosing the codes.

We can only write off if that is what coders say so. I hate getting all those denial letters back.

I don't like getting back denials either. It used to make me feel like I'm doing something wrong....lol But sometimes it's not like that.

Yup, so familiar with M15 & M144. Right we are have a BIG issue remit code 170 provider not authorized to bill for this service and the denying Cpt code 99173 and 96127.

Yes, that's what happens when you have coders. If there's no coder, the biller may have the responsibility.
