Hey, everyone! In this video, I'm addressing a major issue I encountered with my Ola S1 Pro electric scooter on July 19th, 2023. Despite the Ola app showing 77% battery remaining, the scooter refused to turn on, even after attempting the 10-second reset process. Frustrated with the problem, I decided to document everything and share my experience with you all.
Join me as I walk you through the errors I encountered and attempt various solutions. I've already reached out to Ola Electric and raised a ticket, and they've assured me that their service team will get in touch with me today or tomorrow (June 20th, 2023).

Hi@@AVAutoTech . I got s1 air 2 days back. Now the same issue for me. At the time of parking , it is 20% battery. After 5 fours, when I went on to put for charging, the screen is not at all responding. I tried rebooting. After reboot , I heard the sound. But screen was not responding. What should I do now. Same problem occurred olas1 air only 1 week while I'm riding the minimum speed of 40 suddenly it's slowing down after going to 10 the raise is picking up one time I'm overtaking one lorry suddenly slow hogya now vehicle is back of me no means it would be more dangerous..one time in heavy rain totaly stop hogya I got down nd I'm seeing suddenly handle was locked one said rain nd one said I'm getting 😡 angry ..after 10 min while I'm standing in rain only reset hogya after 10 min ..after all this bleddy stuff frm rear wheel some sounds are cmng it's irritating me..after all ths I kept charging in home mrng I want to go to work but screen is not waking up ..frm 10 days I'm raising a issue after 3 days without solving the issue they r closing the ticket ..frm 10 days no one came no technician nothing..if ola managmt can't send technician means why u ppl r selling bikes ..ppl r becmng fools ..NXT I'll suggest ppl not to take ola veryyyyy worst experience..

Is your scooter from the initial lot? If yes then the plug that connects to the display might be loose. It's a manufacturing defect.

Yes it’s from the initial lot, ola service guy came and tried everything and said it’s not working. They also confirmed that the batters has charge in it. Waiting for Ola to pickup the scooter.

I m also faced this same problem. After one week of purchase, around 10.30pm i parked my ola near the hyper charge station at thrissur kerala. 2 vehicles are already waiting so i waited for my turn. Once i try to switch on this same complaint appears. I tried to reset but no reponse. But god grace i drag my bike near the charger and connected screen turn on and then unlocked.

My suggestion is pay of ola care plus and then request for service from the emergency section of the app. Also post a tweet on twitter and tag ola electric!

First initiate emergency request on the ola app, and also I would suggest to pay for Ola care + if you don’t have already! That is the only way you can get things done ASAP! Also put your story on twitter and tag Ola electric! At least the social media team will take some extra responsibility and try to help you with this situation.

Face the same problem.. we have picked up and drop ola engineer from near by service centre..it's was small mistake, one wire was not connected.. it took just 5min to repair

I tried resetting it multiple times. almost 6-7 times. I plug out the charger from scooty and then tried. Finally it showed reset screen and after it was done i am able to unlock scooter. 😊

Now I request a mechanic we paid him rs.500/- and he restored the problem perhaps for time being first I was contact with concerned service station in srinagar Karan nagar kashmir regarding the problem. But the mechanic was busy with the defaulted scooter.

@@AVAutoTech This morning only. The status shows as "sleeping" in the app. When goes to near scooter, it shows as Connected but not getting unlock. I do not have Ola+ subscription and in the app it shows option for Tolling

@@the_mants get ola care + immediately, also raise tkt in the app. Use twitter and tag ola electric! Ola’s social media team responds fast. (Explain them the situation) Make sure to record a video proof that your Ola is active and has battery charged, If the battery is dead then they ask to pay more than 50k! It’s not worth that risk!

Don't purchase ola electric scooter. It's waste of money. It gives lot of issues. Even a newly delivered one develop snag. Service is very poor. If you complain it will take 3 weeks to 3 months to attend service by ola. Lot of problems told by customers who bought ola. If you want problems and wish to waste your money and time purchase ola scooter.

Accha hai ki khud ke ghar pe problem hua hai. Agar raste mein problem hota to kya karoge. I have face the problem on the way. Customer care not responded.for 4 hours. They say leave the scooter there and their mechanic will pick up the same. But they take no responsibility if the same is theft or damaged. So I had to stay for more than 4hours on the road. I suggest all not buy the ola scooter. At least it should have option to unlock the handle. If you are using this then it's your own risk. Because you can't repair in outside garage.
