After doing my bungees, it was much easier than I thought it would be. Doing them in place on the plane seems easier even. Having the correct tool is the key.

This is a Bungee Master. No longer supported and got tired of having my machinist buddy make parts so I now use the Bungee Buddy from Stewart System. I gave $150 for mine several years ago. www.stewartsystems.aero/products/160/bungee-buddy

How do you join the bungee cord together to make the circle landing gear bungee? Thanks
@stevepierce7 жыл бұрын
You buy them already made that way from Aircraft Spruce or Univair.

Thanks Steve for yr reply. The reason for my question is that I make scale J3 Cub and other planes with bungees landing gear and the "o" rings I used breaks with facility.

Hi Steve, I'm wanting to sell a Bungee-Master 9091, but I can't find any info on the web to save my life, as to how much I should ask for it. It looks like you are using a Bungee-Master or something very similar.... It was $450 new. Could you possibly tell me how much someone might pay for it these days?

Seems like cheating getting to do them off the aircraft. I'm going to put new bungees on my Clipper tomorrow. Looks like fun.....not!

LOL, Clipper is not to bad. Helps if you have a big ratchet wrench to turn the nut with.
