OK so this is how it works at the moment Seasonal Rotation: Season 16 Vow of the Disciple, Season 17 Duality Weekly Raid Rotation: Last Wish, Garden of Salvation, Deep Stone Crypt, Vault of Glass Weekly Dungeon Rotation: Shattered Throne, Pit of Heresy, Prophecy, Grasp of Avarice S18: King's Fall/Wrath of the Machine enters the Seasonal Rotation, meaning Vow will be on a weekly Raid rotation S19: [REDACTED] Dungeon enters the Seasonal Rotation, meaning Duality will be on a weekly Dungeon rotation

I think it should stay as a feature cause it gives a ton of value to the old content for people to run those and newer players can also get a chance to learn how the raid works cause there will always be a group running these so they won't have to wait and hope for hours for lfgs to join

This definitely needs to stay as a feature, since that would get me to run raids more often.

Bungie absolutely said that ALL farming caps are removed for weekly rotator content. This is working as intended.

This should absolutely stay as a feature. It only applies to old exotics, so it functions as a catchup mechanic for players who are new/behind on their endgame exotics. What player has time to 1 of each raid/dungeon every week, just in the hopes of getting an exotic? It dosn't affect the fresh content, so players who want the new exotic will still want to raid the new content weekly, but players who only have the time to play in spurts can still get the exotics, they just have to wait a while.

Things I learned: 1. How to farm raid exotics. 2. There's a Caramelldansen gesture and I need it.

Collective obligation kinda sucks tbh. I hope they do something about it before they make it farmable next season

so if the raid is the weekly featured raid it will drop loot from every encounter every time you do it

for those that still don't have vex mythoclast (myself included) this gives more opportunities to get it even though we've been doing this since it came out and still no mytho

I think that's amazing. I'm on probably close to 70-80 VoG runs and no vex. It's so disappointing having not a single drop and then waiting till reset to do 3 runs again. So I actually really like this

I'm pretty sure in a twab they mentioned that any dungeon or raid that has a drop exotic, you can go back and just farm it until weekly reset. They didn't directly say exotics but just mentioned you can farm the loot from it with no restrictions

I sure hope it was intended, kind of reminds me of when they made raids farmable back in arrivals

As someone who's got all the raid weapon ornaments and not the weapons themselves due to awful raid RNG, this is a HUGE help for me

The drop rate is significantly lower than normal for exotics this way, I ran 40 Atheon encounters in the past two days, and no vex

I only have a few hours a day to play so farming is a pain, but, this makes the effort and time investment better for sure.

My problem is that I have mostly everything you’d want from raids and there’s no additional reason to get them done unless my friends ask me or I want to go for a raid title Tho it is a great addition for people missing these exotics and I don’t want it removed it just feels bad if you’ve got everything already

They did this in that past before they sunset the old raids, and I hope it sticks around. As long as you're not farming pinnacles, I don't see why the raids need to be locked behind 1 character a week anyway

Vex has a 2% drop chance couple that with only 3 runs a week. This feature needs to stay or they need to up the drop chance

This should've been in the game from the beginning. Also, I feel that is you have 12 raid completions on any one raid, you should have the option to buy the exotic for spoils. But as it stands, it's not as necessary since it can be farmed, and it makes the drop a little more special

They had it for Anarchy when the raid was going away you could inf farm it which was actually fun to do even if you had it already. I think this should stay. But you should only be able to farm for the exotic on the pinnacle rotator of that week

Is it possible to checkpoint farm by having someone switch classes once they reach the final chackpoint then leave the group and change classes and save the checkpoint over and over ?

I am convinced that Eyes of Tomorrow simply doesn't exist for me. I have run DSC multiple times across all 3 characters, never got it once whilst other members of my clan got it. Hoping I can get it next time in rotation which is about 3 weeks from now.

But 1k drops rely on cheat opening and the key drop at riven, so can anyone tell me if the key also drop everytime you kill riven? Or everytime you complete queenswalk they give you a change of dropping 1k?

I think it's actually a great feature for these old raids even if it's a bug. It now means I can help my friends get the exotics after they've been unlucky for ages. Especially since the old raids have a much lower player count.

They clearly said Legendaries are the only thing we can farm. They probably hit a switch that removed all loot lock outs which theyll end up fixing but it should definitely stay. It's old content and is only once a week every month for each of the raids. Fingers crossed that it stays

I think bungie stated that it is a glitch that requires further invastigation and it will stick untill they will fix it, because exotics should not be farmable, only legendaries.

This was actually confirmed to not be true, Bungie stated that rotator raids do not drop their exotic from repeat clears (can't find the statement)

You could already do this. Raid exotics are encounter drops, not loot drops. That’s why you get the exotic AND a legendary drop

This true but very misleading, it has dropped for some people but it appears to be at a much lower chance then normal. I ran it a bunch today and no one in my group got a drop which if you add the probabilities together should not have happened. I looked it up and there are several horror stories of people running 40+ clears and no one getting it which if you do the math is 240 chances for it to drop. DO NOT DO THIS FARM UNTIL WE KNOW WHAT IS HAPPPENING YOU WILL LIKELY WASTE YOUR TIME.

If they remove it, people won't be happy. I for one only build up one of my characters per season. Since they changed how resilience works, I'm going to need to farm new armor for all my characters at some point. I'd rather just stick with one character this season and farm the raids.

What do you mean by farm. Like you can kill enemys and get the items. Or you have to beat the raid. Or is there some kind of glitch around raid spoils. What are you talking about farmable. If it means beating the raid then that's not exactly the same thing as beating nightfalls to farm to nightfall weapons.

Vow and duality are not part of the weekly featured unfortunately.

I like this feature, though I know some Content creators like Chibi are probably crying just remembering the struggle they had to get these from needing to wait a full weak for each set of attempts.

It should stay a feature because not everyone has the time or energy to run 3 characters. I used to run 3 characters but it causes burnout way faster for me so I don't do it anymore.

The RNG blessed me and cursed me, i was gifted the new dungeon sword but i cant get any of its weapons for the life of me maybe i have to sacrifice my first born to balance things out.
