Good morning. I had to wait until I have a full break so that I can sit, relax and enjoy your post. I have never had anything that you have made there except dal. You did a nice educational session too for the krekete cleaning so that people would learn how to clean it . Maybe it's the intestines. It's the first time that I'm actually seeing how it's cooked and eaten. I like the snapper stew or curry. I don't know sea patwah. Your plants are really healthy. Maybe the bolounger plants needs some miracle grow soil , see how fast you will see the miracle LOL..I saw 2 pepper plants in buckets, they are looking a bit wilted, could be over watering or needs watering. All of your foods are looking real delicious . See Guyanaese life bai, neighbors passing foods and drinks ova.. Nothing is better than abbie Guyanaese living. I really admired how Anjie is eating her krekete in English. De gurl got the moves when chewing her foods. You guys are a very happy bunch..Missed Shivindra in this one..Great post. Oh yesterday I waited all day till sun cum up fuh diss video afta yuh said video uploading..💪💪💪💪💪🙏🙏👌👌👌💯💯💯🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾❤❤🇬🇾🇬🇾

Love the way you prepare krekete or (gunga)It’s a very delicious dish they are bottom feeders like Hassa. The only trouble i have is you use MSG this gives nice flavour but dangerous for Health.Restaurant in North America stop using it so you guys be careful.

The best feeling is actually catching those snails in the ricefield. Sometimes one may accidentally step on one of those suckers and get a small cut. But you continue with the 'gathering'-- because that is what it actually is. And after a long morning of snail gathering, you come home to wash and clean them. On some occasions, we would 'dig' them out of their shells with a stick (most preferably, from a black sage bush). This is usually done at the location where it is caught, so you don't have to worry about where to dispose of its insides...plus it's probably good food for the fish. Next, clean and wash with lime juice (because no right human being would dare wash a delicacy like this with acetic acid...citric acid is the better choice). Coconut milk is a must. Some people do add cassareep and cook it like chicken gizzards (I believe your wife mentioned this earlier in the video). It accompanies rice and dhal well...basically comfort food. Add in some coconut choka, shrimp choka, baigan choka, fried okra....and your level of happiness shoots up. I forgot to mention the saijan bhajie.
