You are the sweetest!! This just popped up on my feed - you did a wonderful job, and the cages look awesome! 😍 definitely staying tuned for the walkway idea. I think that sounds amazing.

I think this hutch is great 😄 But these buns should not walk on wire, it is really bad for their feet. I would just fix that really quick. Other than that, great jobb😆

I wound put a roof along with shed roof and hutch under it at way done and wont to do it again later have time for in long run

Quick comment... fixing to build my hutch. I’ve purchased cages and see that you set yours directly on the wood. Any issues? So many saying to hang and such.

There is a bit of urine build up on the wood, but outside of that, I haven’t had a problem. I would think that would happen even if the cages are hung though. I’m having more of an issue with the plastic feet mats I put inside the cages to give their feet a rest from the wire. Those mats catch all the hay and poop and just let it build up, they’re awful.

The bulk of my herd is American Blue. I got them from a breeder in Ohio who was retiring from the business. I’m now breeding them.

Great question! The purple plastic things around the door edges are called cage door guards. They protect you and your buns from the sharp wire edges. 😊

@@FarmGirlInProgress Thanks. I'm also doing my DIY dual rabbit cage and the edges of the door have sharp edges from the cut. Then I saw your video that's why I asked. Thanks. I'm just worried for my rabbits might have cuts from the edges. Thanks.
