A 2013 interview with the late, great Bunny Rugs and Third World Band, hosted by Calibe Thompson of Caribcast and Jamaicans.com.
On February 2nd, 2014, the world lost a Jamaican treasure, the voice of Bunny Rugs. He was not just a penomenal vocal presence, he was also a bright, funny, warm-hearted man with a loving family, steadfast friends and legions of adoring fans. In 2013, Third World celebrated 40 years as a band, and I had the esteemed privilege of spending a sunny evening with them, soaking in their brotherhood, listening to the sweet sounds of their harmonies, and basking in the brilliance of Bunny's voice.
Bunny - May your voice ring on in our ears, may your music live on in our hearts. Rest well, dear friend. You will be missed.

R.I.P. Bunny Rugs! This was a great tribute. This tribute shows true passion for reggae music and not just doing something for a pay check. This is my favorite reggae band.

Very professional, Calibe. Thank you for this time you have given to us to listen to Bunny as he reminisces about his and the band's storied career. He was one of my all time favorites and next to Bob Marley is the reason I first feel in love with reggae music. He is already and will be so missed.

Plucked from our midst, we're forced inside our memory bank as surely each and every one of us has a Third World and/or Bunny Rugs memory. Thank you Bunny for the fine memories. Yours was a voice that brought the R&B and soul elements to the Reggae genre in such a sweet and special, unforgettable way. You will be sorely missed as another chapter of reggae has closed with your passing. Namaste and RIP.

I still think that the best presentation they did was EXPLANITATION. If anyone has a video of this show, done on the grounds of Jamaica House in the mid-seventies.
