One thing I forgot to mention is that when I chose these trees, I took into account their accessibility and ease of getting. End times wood sells for 4x the price of ice wood but average players do not have eyes to lower the bridge and it is likely that the tree has been harvested. Ice wood is the easiest alternative and is cheaper considering that the eye technically costs 400k. If you are skilled enough to get end times wood and use a private server, that wood sells for the most.

Lumber tycoon 2 needs to have some sort of scale or something that you can buy to tell you how much a log costs depending on the type of wood, the length of the log, and whether or not it is been through a sawmills.

i'm thankful defaultio added the ice wood. one thing i like about it is its light weight and small size so i can fit like 8 trees to a truck and earn like 50K for that. the only thing with that though is it's time consuming but yeah it's really the best wood for starters like me

Also the sign when you buy your first plot is 400 cash it is very helpful and enough to buy a car!

As a noob I just worked for pros. They would pay me 100K-500K it’s insane and they also gave me axes and rare items or wood. Then I met an exploiter the other day and they game me 19M. Lesson learned: talk to or work for pros

You're right about the ice wood is the best I had 7 k and in the end it had almost 50k in money, also you don't need a huge sawmill to transform into a plank. You can put in the 1600 money sawmill because every wood Will fit and is very easy to chop.

I’m not sure if you’ll see this, but an easier way to get zombie, gold, and (maybe lava wood) is to use the glitch where you can go up walls. You can get a stick of dynamite and use the glitch to explode the rock bridge and you can use an axe to (maybe) get lava wood without going up the volcano.

I got 2 ice trees, carried them back, sawmilled them and sold. Moneg went from 4,000 to 13,500. Average profit was 8,500 from *2 trees.* It’s costly, but godly.

I recently lost my many axe when I was transferring it from my alt account to my main account. However, the main account I was transferring it TO had no base or land or land purchased, and therefore it did not save, nor fix the 200k cash I donated to it. ive found lava wood to be more enjoyable and fun getting and selling. the trips are quicker, the volcano isnt that bad when you master it, and in 30 minutes i can sell around 4 lava trees and get a lot of money. going through the volcano adds a sense of thrill too. ice wood is just more annoying for me personally. it might be more effective, totally, but i prefer lava wood. gold wood feels too long, especially at 1 tree at a time. you could take the secret rock bridge, but it feels like too much effort. cavecrawler wood requires a ferry trip, a bad time in a maze and back. much too long for something just a tid bit better. another case for lava wood is the thickness, i'd say lava wood is like 2x as thick as ice wood. there are no tiny little branches that just waste time. every branch is worth a lot.

I think birch is sooo good bcs the sell price is pretty low but when you sawmill it...SHEEEEESH! And its so thin so it fits in almost every sawmill.

I remember someone duped end wood somehow and had like hundreds of long pieces of end wood that were 5 times longer than the plot of land they were on and he said if I help him cut it I will get a lot of money and I cut a few pieces and got 300k from selling them

Lava wood is the best, it may only be about 4 times cheaper than ice wood, the **thickness** and easyness to get it is worth it if Ur skilled at driving, a tip is to roll off trees off the mountain and leave some trailers below.

think a good rule of thumb is when doing ice wood if the branch doesn't rise above the snow then it isn't worth to take back and sawmill

Best starter tip for lumber tycoon 2: First save up to 100 and buy a plot, when u got ur plot sell the sign that comes with ur plot and make up to 500 cash, after that buy a car and a shabby sawmill and go to mountain and chop birch wood

This is really helpful because I'm trying to het a saw mill

since i dont have snowmobile i use the utility vehicle to spawn it on top of the all purpose truck, making it into the back of the truck. then i drive to the ice biome and to the cabin, then i do the blueprints flip thing to get the car off, i do the rest on my utility veichle. get as much trees as i can, put them down the slide where it meets my truck. i go down the slide with my veichle then i collect the wood, made 20k one time!

With the goldwood, i can push the rock bridge by using a blueprint and turning it while pushing and it will eventually fall down

There is actually a better way to get to swamp so the thing u hab to do is get up the volcano then look down u will see there is hole from 2 platforms go to the other plstform my pushing down the movable rock then head straight there is a path
