In the skate world, this guy was a clown. He would skate hypebeast shoes for a reaction from people outside of the scene. His skating was fairly good, but his mass appeal was from how he used skateboarding as an accessory to his fashion rather than doing it for fun. He did it to only to gain followers which is seen as pretty shallow and sellout behavior. As a skater that feels pretty up to date with short lasting trends, he was doing the same stuff for years. It was tacky back then and it’s still tacky now. I’m glad he is doing something that he loves and something that he’s more passionate about than skating previously. He seems fun and goofy overall. This was an explanation for why skaters don’t really like him. Great vid either way, much respect.
