@@jason8897386 I don't have to: I worked in a Burger King in the past while my sister worked in McDonalds so we compared notes. Burger King puts the meat through a flame grill while McDonald's simply put the meat oh a got plate and flip it over.

@@Apexilon Ya McDonalds does it old school on a grill that is cleaned. That machine that BK uses. Come on. In the back. There has to be some nasty stuff that gets ignored. No way that is cleaned on a regular basis. If they are going to use a grill. Use a proper grill.

Used to work at McD. For every new toy promotion we get a set number of boxes. When they run out, they use the generic happy meal bags till the next new toy promotion comes in with the corresponding boxes. It makes sense since you don't want overlap (i.e the box advertising a toy from a past promotion) and risk disappointing kids. I feel you though, Daym. Boxes are where it's at.

Burger King all the way. McFoodPoisoning puts onions on everything it seems, and if this is something for kids, not all dig onions. The fries from BK aren't skimped on, where McD's look like "Nah, they don't need those fries. They are kids, and not worthy." Those extra, potentially uneaten fries are adult after snacks. The drinks.... BK again, kids dig that, boxes are boring. On top of that, it looks like kids get more from BK than a McD's box drink. Sauce trumps slices, IMHO. How they keep those slices from going brown... yeah, that has to be good for kids. Toys: BK again. Video games, man. LCD toys are gonna get kids attention more than a tattoo and toys, but Batman is boss.

What happens with the happy meal boxes is when we run out we switch to the bags, so they were probably out of the boxes. also one more note, in a couple months McDonald's is getting rid of the 10:1 patties ( the small ones) and replacing them with 8:1 patties which are a little bigger.

I work at a McDonald's and my store manager told me about it because with the smaller patties they dry out fast and we have to constantly make new ones. They are making them slightly larger to help increase the time that they are good to serve. Idk if this is nationwide, or if it is just in my area..

We still get them in store, but the distributor only sends a certain amount and once the boxes are gone it's nearly a month before we get more. I personally like the boxes more, and I agree with your points on showing the difference for kids and adults.

McDonald's. But the amount of fries is a absolute joke. My 3 year old niece gets pissed and steals my fries often. Also McDonald's because bk's nuggets are awful compared to McDonalds. They are so bad they can't even sell them 10 for $1.49

Matthew Miller yeah it's too bad the cheetos chicken fries taste the same as the regular ones. I don't taste the cheese at all hardly. But yeah everything at bk was bomb in the 80s and 90s. Especially the fries. The burgers were hot and fresh always too back then and now the patties sit in bins McDonald's style. It doesn't affect McDonald's meat taste like it does bk's broiler taste sitting around.

In Scotland, at all of the McDonalds I’ve been to, Happy Meals. One in boxes with games and stuff all over them, and come with small fries and whatever else you order, any small drink, and a toy🤔😂 It’s strange how different things are in different countries😂
