Yeah I never understood why people cant tolerate other languages. We live in a world where translating is at our fingertips but people are ignorant. Yo mum Yo mum it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re dumb but it’s proven that knowing more than 1 language is beneficial to the brain and studies have shown that knowing a second language helps works the brain and helps delay the onset of things like dementia and Alzheimer’s. I’m not saying people are dumb for only knowing one language but I do believe that those who do know more than one language definitely have an advantage. Now, do I consider the ladies in the video dumb? Absolutely. From the video they seemed to be very closed minded and intolerant of others. Knowing more than one language is awesome and takes a lot of hard work to be able to communicate and understand languages. I love hearing people talk in different languages. It’s quite fascinating to me.
