States with BBQ! You’ve called my names. Yes! It’s a regional thing. Fast food never gets it right, either. For reference: - SOME parts of South Carolina do the mustard style BBQ. It’s very very specific though. - Some parts of North Carolina do vinegar with red pepper flakes. It’s more of a mop sauce than actual sauce. - Other parts of the state do more standard “BBQ” to what we know, but it’s generally thinner due to a higher vinegar concentration. Other spots they can call on for sauce include Memphis, Kansas City, and Georgia - and definitely NOT Texas who pride themselves on nothing more than salt, pepper, and smoke. I know you don’t care. But my inner dad got all worked up. SO I HAD TO SHARE.

With HST the Carolina Chicken Sandwich is 10$ in the Toronto area. Still expensive. I'll go with either Big Mary Monday (4.99 plus HST) or A&W has their Chubby Chicken Burger on sale for (6.59 plus HST). I don't know why anybody pays such high prices for fast food.

That’s not true Carolina style bbq sauce. Carolina bbq sauce is a vinegar base and very rich in flavor. It’s also relatively thin, not like Texas BBQ.

wow i just had this, THEY FORGOT MY BACON. it was pretty shitty anyway the sauce made the patty super soft and mushy and the hickory sticks werent even crunchy they got mushy form the bbq sauce too

That burger is not $12. It is listed as $8.99 at BC Burger King locations. The combo that comes with fries and a drink is priced at $13. In some provinces the burger is listed at $7.99.
