I will highly disagree with you Javed Chuadhry Sahib in this regard. There is a big difference between a technician and an engineer. Technician only knows how to repair old technology and this is a skill which can be learnt in couple of months. But engineers are meant to learn how technology works and to invent new technology. Even electrical engineers of Oxford and MIT can't do the wiring of their houses because this is not their work.

There is a big difference between engineer and technician. Engineers design and supervise technicians. A technician can only follow the guidelines and execute according to tbe engineers design.

I agree with you up to some extent but not fully. Without degree (education) one can not invent, research, modify the products etc.( other than some exceptions). I think you should make part-ii of this vlog. considering my point of view. Without degree we will just produce labor, worker but not engineer, scientist, surgeons etc.

Engineer designs systems such as they design engines and vehicle parts if he is a mechanical engineer he knows machine design and if he is a electrical engineer he can design electrical parts of the machine. Simply it's mean that engineering is about design not assembling. Even the graduates from the top most universities of the world like MIT and Stanford don't learn how to assemble the parts but they know how to design the parts. It is the engineers who changed the world by designing equipments, machineries, buildings, dams etc., But not by assembling these things. For example you can't ask any civil engineer to construct the Dam by his hands and machine. For example in design process of the dames or any structure in the world he will develop calculations regarding structural design, strength of materials, working drawings of every aspect of the project, cost and risk management and too many issues. But you can't ask him to build a structure by his hands. And it is true for all engineering decipline. Designing system or engineering any system is not only education but also it is a wonderful skill

Agree with u but not fully. Degree protect you. When we have skills, they required degree. My czn is a professional software engineer but he has no degree. No company wanted to give him a job. He is married though and at this age he is doing graduation just for degree:)

I have seen many engineers who says we know designing and theory related to our subject but when you will ask them theory they are not able to give proper answer , especially in Pakistan this is common , degree is important but that doesn't mean you know how to work in field.Without any knowledge degree is just a piece of paper and nothing.

Hey. I think this video has so many flaws. Examples are absolutely wrong. 10 percent you are right. Technician job is different. Doctor job is different. This is reason so Many quaks in pakistan. Actually you don't know what is Job of physician, and what is job of surgeon. Examples you are setting, completely wrong. Medical profession is totally different, you don't sir. Engineer profession is different. Research is different.

Mr. Chaudary don't discourge degree's holders and those who are in degree education process. The fifteen companies acceptsc and degree's and skills for Jobs in their companies .
