Man, I absolutely enjoyed Burna Boy's performance at WCMF2022 ... No circumstance could've interfered with that experience for me. When an artist gives you that fusion of musical and spiritual vibes, then you have no choice BUT to vibe!

It's a very very beautiful country but is more French creole than anything else. Most Dominicans enjoy zouk, cadence and French based songs, so I am pretty sure a French speaking artist would have light that place on fire for sure. I understood that they were lots of fans from the French and creole speaking islands who came to see him but for some reason he was not present on the Saturday and by the time he performed, it was the early hours of Sunday morning. These folks lost money by not seeing him because they left Dominica to return to their islands for their workday and other commitments. Burna Boy obviously did not apologize to the fans, and as an artist should do, whether it was his fault or not, but went straight into performing. One thing with French people they will let you know exactly what time it is, hence, why he wasn't well received. Burna has to understand that Caribbean people have little tolerance for disrespect.....lessons learnt, I hope. He obviously would not dare do that in the US because he knows what would happen to him.....lawsuits and all lol.
