Thanks for sharing. It matters to those of us who can’t get to where you all go. 😊

The good thing about hunting next to a river or good-sized creek is the potential for human habitation and activity. The downside is much of the remains could be deeply buried or worse, washed away. All of those suspender clips reinforced my impression that you rarely see the same one twice.

Great job. I like the format. I bought a coin magnifier on Amazon for 45 bucks. It has helped me identify things on more than just coins. That might have helped with the fancy suspender clip. Great job. Thanks for the adventure.

Hey Shawn & Jerry! Love the suspender clips! The 1911 Badge, Pottsville, PA is where Yuengling is made. Totally worth a trip to check out the brewery there. Keep up the amazing footage!

If there was a store maybe someone was repairing clothing with all the suspenders clips and a thimble you found.

How awesome it is...when you can pull a nice relic or coin from the dirt that has been swung over and hunted many times. Fantastic job on sniffing the war nickel out.

Since you keep finding those suspender clips, I understand there is a new book out on suspender clips. Nice hunt, maybe that old soldier left his belt plate there for you.

That's a lot of suspender clasps. Maybe there was a seamstress that made or repaired clothes. Who knoelws. I just hope it wasn't just one poor soul losing his. 💖💯

Hey Jerry it's just speculation but perhaps one of two things ... maybe you have found where these folks overalls were hanging on thier cloths lines ... or maybe those folks workin that furnace had the notion to take a dip in the river after a hard day's work . Either way man ty for the adventure!!

Schuylkill is pronounced "skook-ill" ...as it was named by the natives. Today the word is most often heard at a Delco Wawa followed by the phrase "Go Birds!"

Yes back then there were alot of men working that would make sense why all those suspenders would be there. They also had blacksmiths to and wars to where lots of guys were shot or hit with sharp objects.those other harmonicas could also be from man wearing those bent metal on there boots i had a pair with them on it in the 70s i was a boot gal do to farming and workin on others farming to help them out with cows horses sheep and tractor works . sum times chickens to .

@@detectingpa8968 that there answered the question. 🤦 the system for protected sites…areas ya can’t dig because they’re in the PASS system. Some MD crew from Maryland messed up some stuff west of chambersburg. I thought all MDs checked that before headin out
@detectingpa8968Ай бұрын
I can assure you that we aren’t detecting protected sites.
@rudy4480Ай бұрын
@@detectingpa8968 yea. I figured. You’re pretty solid in ur videos. Others should watch and learn from em. I think that too mostly. Problem now. People register sites from 60s and land resells oer and oer and it gets lost in the shuffle. Them Maryland boys were on someone’s private land with permission. Owner didn’t even know bout ole GAR campsite on land and got some trouble after them boys dug. Good group boys too. They ain’t never hurt anything in purpose.
