For some reason the boss designs in MMX really invoked the intention of wanting to deliver a great deal of pain to X. In other words they didn't seem like pushovers. Everyting about their stage and their designs says, "X, you are not only weaker than us but you're out of your league and outdated. Prepare to be scrapped." Making the quest for armor upgrades all the more exciting. Of course I think Capcom kinda went off the rails with that concept in the later ones.

Burning Noumander is actually the Japanese name for Flame Mammoth. Not sure if anyone else answered this question, but hope that helps

I think the main thing with the boss designs is that, with the X series, Capcom really wanted to invoke a more mature X when compared to rockman. You really begin to see this when you start comparing the bosses and character designs from the two series: rockman's were more cartoony and simple. Most of the time they were about simple things like quickman or windman, but when you see the X bosses you see both a theme and animal behind them, kinda showing that "wild beast" side of the elements

I disagree, I think this song is literally ALL about the guitars, especially in this remix. The original didn't have the guitar stand out that much, but this one just elevates it to an insane level. What I will say is that sometimes it just goes a little bit too fast and, like you said, part of the song is lost in it.

Sounds pretty good :) only advice I could give to the creator of this track is to give more balance to ALL the parts, because some parts the bass can hardly be heard, while the melody blasts away. Other than that, good remix and love the freestyle bit in the middle
