Had bad opener up here to never seen any I'm alone talked to guys with 3 in boat they never either so I didn't feel that defeated but good to throw for them again

Walmart sells a Schumacher lithium battery jump box that weighs next to nothing for a reasonable price. Might consider it since you guys spend so much time on the water.

great video. I was watching your older green bay muskie videos and have a question about the 6” crane. It looked like you went from 3 small hooks to 2 bigger hooks. What size hooks would you suggest for the crane 206 and bigger 208? I just got one of each and the light wire hooks seem kinda small but I don’t know what size to replace them with without negatively affecting the action. I was thinking maybe 2 2/0 hooks instead of the 3 #2 or whatever they are.

For twitching 6" crane baits we opted to go with larger hooks with the theory that it would help improve our hook up ratio/keep fish pinned and it has definitely helped the last couple years! Being that we added larger hooks with extra weight, buoyancy was affected so we keep the middle hook off to retain much of the same action and rise of the original bait from the factory. Plus leaving the middle hook off doesn't allow as many hook tangles. We've been running both short shank 3/0 or 4/0 for size. You get a little better action with 3/0. Hope this helps! - Ross
