@@omaradame1583 I can only dream about it and enjoy other's stories. I can't walk any more, degenerating spine issues have impaired my walking. Locally I can't afford to pay someone to push me around in a wheel chair. I'm 70,....I guess I partied too hardy when I was young and now I am paying for it. My back, legs and hands don't work like they used. They ache and my doctors refuse to give me pain killers. I'm pretty much a shut in, and slowly decaying. I stopped riding my motorcycle in 2018,....and my life is controlled by what hurts or doesn't hurt, at any given moment. I was busy and involved when I was young, & in the Arts. I was a print maker, a sculptor, a furniture maker, I was in group and solo exhibits. I sold my art but never earned enough to call it a "living". I worked in art galleries and was a professional picture framer, to make a living. I won a few Arts grants, too. They paid for my schooling, some supplies, I had enough to where I could hire another artist as an assistant, for short period of time.

Some are stored nearby, some arrive on trailers, some are towed there, many are [re] assembled once they arrive. There are even some that are street-legal and actually are driven there.

Some vehicles are trailered. Some are assembled on site. The Neverwas Haul can be disassembled and towed behind a pickup truck. There is a time lapse video showing the disassembly process.

Some are disassembled and turned into something else. Some reappear year after year. Most all attempt to be sustainable. It is part of the ethos.

The same people who bring their children to the zoo, or the museum, or the park, or the playground, or the mountains, or the streams, or the desert...

Non close minded parents. I do believe the camping grounds where most kids would be and the spots you think they shouldn't be are quite a distance from eachothert. Not to mention there are staff and general rules to keep them from seeing stuff that might not be okay. I.E substance abuse. Yes it might seem weird but if I had the funds I'd take my kids. The art alone we would dork for days. The scenery, shit feeling like mad max. 💚

Awesome parents! There's a dedicated section for kids every year where they can explore art just their size, and kids love Burning Man! It's big and colorful and creative and inclusive...exactly what children should be taught. I've seen some family cosplay that is out of this world!
