As a City fan, I have nothing but love Vinny. That said, he is taking a big risk moving to Bayern and I think the outcome will be a binary: he either smashes it OR Bayern have another disastrous season and he'll wish he never took the job. Personally, I hope he does great there, but it is a huge risk.

As a Bayern fan, i am somewhat pessimistic about Kompany.... there are a few positive points obviously....he speaks German, obviously knows how the game works, and has played alongside some of the best in the world, so he should know how to handle the team...i think but the negatives are just overwhelming for me atm, he was not really successful enough to justify a move to Bayern, he tried to play a system with a squad, that didn't seem to fit his playstyle, and refused to change the system(?)...can someone expand on this one? it's really hard to see his philosophy in Burnley games since they obviously lost most of them and couldn't get the initiative in the game but yeah idk.... hopefully, I am wrong and he does well for my club, maybe in a year or 2 I look like an idiot but that would actually be great...... Bayern has to work in different ways, mostly because we can't compete financially with the likes of City, PSG, and altogether most of the English clubs since they don't really have to work for their money as German clubs have to, but we are forced to make smart decisions and I feel like the risk with Kompany is simply too high, if that makes sense.....
