If you listen to the entire burnout theme you’ll hear how the theme undergoes like a euro feel or almost a formula 1 type feel to a very... I dunno... it’s hard to explain but I get goosebumps still when I hear the evolution within the song. It starts out solid enough but like you said they layer it and suddenly you feel like you’re playing a sport racer maybe and then they drop it back to a very spatial type insert. It’s just very very good.

I can just hear stryker doing a voice line for all of these: Compact: Welcome! I know these things look like shopping carts, but they are excellent for drivers like you! Muscle: Which side will you pick? American brute force, Japanese technical pizzazz, or Italian speed? Coupe: You are a good driver, but you are not the only one! Cars are upgraded, and the competition is getting meaner! Sports: What if I told you those past classes were baby steps? Well, They were. The real competition starts here! Super: Oh WOW. You have made it far into this series, but now it is time for the ultimate challenge! Are you going to go quietly or rage on and become the Burnout World Champion?

I put a lot of hours into this game. This and NFS Hot Pursuit 2 on the PS2 were probably my favorite racing games.

These colors are in the final game but you need to go into split screen to access those colors and certain methods like going online and playing in road rage will make them available for selection. But once you got that color you cant switch to the other color and switch back to the unavailable color. This cannot be performed anymore due to the online servers to the game have been terminated.

Although Burnout Legends looks the same as Burnout 3 Takedown, actually Burnout 3 Takedown is a much better game than Burnout Legends. There are too many things missing in Burnout Legends.
