In this video we will be visiting the Abstraction / Extraction exhibition by Canadian photographer Edward Burtynsky, at the Saatchi Gallery in London.
Throughout his 40-year career, he has witnessed the transformative impact modern civilizations have imposed on the planet. This retrospective aims to raise awareness about this matter.

My favourite space in London! Saatchi gallery has a special place in my heart! I did however prefer it when Charles Saatchi actually used to own it/show his own collection and every exhibition was free to get in😅

Saw this yesterday. Beautiful and horrifying. I like that you have got close up with the pictures to highlight textures and scale. It was only when i did that, and you notice the tiny vehicles, buildings etc, how impossibly huge some of these areas are

I would like to know who can interpret the meaning of the works in the above video, or the intention of the creator, because I have never seen someone interpret the works, at best, it is to say, good, great, and this expression of people, are people who do not understand the work
