It's because the trip from that part of Canada, to Florida, is an 18 hour drive, and folks typically do it in one go, switching drivers and fuelling up once or twice.

They shouldn't allow smoking, it makes it too hard for the driver to see the road at night. Maybe smoking during the day if they really have to

Incomplete story. Why did the bus crash ? Forced off the road by another driver ? Was the bus driver drunk ? Did the bus driver have a medical episode ? Was this driver error due to speeding ? Did the bus have a mechanical failure ? Was the bus hit by lightning ? What happened ?

The worst drivers in Canada are from Vancouver and Quebec. In Vancouver they are aggressively incompetent drivers. In Quebec they are aggressively wreckless drivers. Each part of the country has its own distinct culture, if you get t-boned out west it's cuz the other driver never tried to learn to drive safely, in Quebec it's cuz they don't care to drive safely

Yeah they do a LOT of drinking and driving in Quebec. From about 12 and up they encourage the kids up drive around drinking wine as part of the culture
