In this tutorial I will go through how you create bus and send tracks in FL Studio. This will help improve workflow while also saving CPU load for better performance. Having a good workflow is essential in order to be able to focus on the music production, and to ensure good results.

Hi there! Awesome video as always! So when I set up my send how do I route it to my instrument. Is it instrument to send or the other away around. I’m a little confused. Anyway, appreciate the help!

Thanks for your video. The issue i have found here with send fxs to other tracks is that you are using the volume fader to determine the amount of wet signal that affects the dry signal. For example if you sending a vox and a snare to that reverb send, and use the volume fader to control the amount of wet signal, you are then determining the amount of wet signal for those 2 tracks. The idea is to have control over the wet signal that goes into those 2 separate tracks right? I personally use the knob at the bottom of the send track; that way you have control of how much wet signal that goes into each individual channel. The way you are showing it creates a problem because you will then have to have a separate send track for each one of those individual tracks if you want control over the wet signal. Once you move that fader it affects the wet amount for ALL tracks that are routed to that send track. Makes sense or is it just me? Thanks 😊

Thank you for the video,it was very informative for me as a beginner. However, I have a question: How do you route a VST plugin like Output Arcade, which assigns different samples to different keys on the keyboard, without loading the VST multiple times, essentially using one VST instance for different sections (e.g., C-F Drums on Drum Bus, G-H Melody on Melody Bus, etc.)? Is this even possible in FL Studio?

Hi there, glad you liked and found it informative! I am not aware of a good functionality for the scenario you describe. You could route it to several sends, and only activate the send when needed, but if you play two sounds at the same time, that wouldn't work. I would probably start several instances of the vst, one for drums, one for melody and only use relevant sounds in that instance.

Hi, I would route the vocals bus to the master, as you would set the effects you need on your vocal bus

brother I'm frustrated I already did those steps 100 times in my voices and I can't make the reverb heard oh delay help me the channel is routed with the bus channel and even so I can't hear it

Hi there, that sounds strange indeed, guess you have double checked that the bus is routed to the mater, and that the wet and dry signal is set at the right level? does the bus channel indicate that it gets sound with the volume bar?
