Great informative content! That red halter top is divine on you. And those two statement necklaces...always bring out a tinge of envy. They were the perfect pieces to get your point across. This is super helpful! I am in a serious jewelry rut. Same dangly gold earrings, same gold cuff, same brown beads stacked on my wrist. And if they don’t work with my shirt, I tend to go without jewelry. Which leads to a very dull day for me! Love my sparkle. I’m inspired to break out some old pieces and play around! Flawless suggestions Erin. The rule I've always applied is Necklace OR Earrings - rarely both (unless necklace is superfine). Chic is NOT decorated like a Christmas tree but adorned strategically to enhance and draw attention either to or away from key areas.

I couldn't sleep last night so I binge watched a lot of your videos when you popped on my feed! I was inspired by your bravery to do a gap year. We have similar paths. I live in Fort Worth in a big house but have been in love with Creede Colorado, where we went every summer my entire life. It's a tiny town with so much spirit. My husband and I work at home and could move anywhere but the difference is we have kids in high school and a 28 year old who just had a baby. We are tied here for a bit. I am so glad that you guys followed your heart while your kids were young enough. Most people let an opportunity like that fly by but y'all grabbed it and conquered it. :-) So excited for you all. Anyway, love the videos, subscribed to the blog. Can't wait to catch up on all your videos and live vicariously in Telluride with you. LOL. Do lots of videos as Christmas comes for those of us still in Texas!

Great video Erin, I have just started watching your videos streaming to my television at home and subscribed. I have just purchased my wedding jewelery for my wedding dress and reception dress. I do prefer long simple necklaces and the same with earings, I am only 5ft 1 inch so I feel if something is too large it just looks odd no matter what I am wearing. I do also love my sparkle. I have so much jewelery and only wear it over the weekends, as I work full time then teach fitness classes every evening and weekends, it saves taking everything off before getting hot and sweaty ha xxx

Great advise, Erin, I totally agree with everything you said! I have very short hair so my go to look most of the time is a great statement earring and no necklace at all. If I do wear a necklace then I will choose a smaller pair of earring to go with it. Also with being a short hair, girl and I am only 5' 3 1/2" tall so I think it's too overpowering for my shorter frame to wear too much jewelry all at once! LOL this is only my opinion.....LOL

I remember years ago when everyone was wearing big 80's jewelry and someone on Oprah said before you leave the house, you should always remove one piece of jewelry. Of course these days, I can't imagine we have quite the same issues, but this was a great idea for a video. I wish that there were more earrings that clipped on. I have one earlobe that is completely ripped and can't wear all the cute earrings I love. I will have it fixed eventually but until then, it really does affect my style. I would actually like to warn all of you beauties to be careful about this. Our skin looses elasticity and our lobes tear easily. Be weary of heavy earrings ladies!
