Hello there,
today I share my updated version of Phoenix Rising, the all new B&M Inverted Coaster coming to Busch Gardens Tampa in 2024.
As always, I designed the layout in FVD and imported it into NoLimits 2 Roller Coaster Simulation. This layout is based on a concept art released by Busch Gardens a few weeks ago. Assuming the layout on the concept art is more than just some artistic approximation, the real ride will more or less look like this concept. I hope you enjoy this creation and thanks for watching!

I think this is great way to introduce the next gen of coaster enthusiasts! One step before the big kids Banshee, Big Bear, Raptor etc!

I love how this is clearly B&M's take on the 453m Vekoma SFC, just as how their previous models in China are their take on the 395m Vekoma SFC.

I see this as a really good stepping stone to the bigger picture, and a pre-cursor to something big. Look what happened pre Iron Gwazi. We got a flat ride, then a family coaster, then a big thrill coaster

Definitely, I thinks this is a good fit for BGT. Who knows what we can expect in the future. Maybe they'll finally get a Giga or I could also see them add a launched wing coaster!

ive already ridden the vekoma version (dragonflier at Dollywood) so I'm interested to how this will measure up to it

I've ridden orkanen at farup sommerland and it's one of the best family coaster I've done! If B&M's version reaches this level, I'll be excited to see what other family coaster they can build

I think you won't notice that you're suspended on this ride. Similar to vekoma's suspended coasters

Trains are actually vekoma's for this recreation but the layout is very similar to vekoma's too. I guess they took inspiration from vekoma because they deliver the best family inverts in the business!

Many will argue that there aint enough kid/family rides at theese amusement parks like busch/sea world etc. But unless your under 48 inches you have your seasame street village and some kiddie rides but kids nowadays are riding the huge rollercoasters..There lifespan of riding theese kiddie coasters are probably 4 yrs 5yrs tops..So i say focus on the huge rollercoasters..Kids that are 9 and over are riding kumba,montu and even gwazi.I think theese family rollercoasters are fun but busch gardens isn't disney or universal there demographic is thrill seeker..I know thats why i visit..I wanna ride record breaking not family..😢 No disrespect to anyone.In all fairness this ride does look amazing..

I appreciate your comment and I think you've made a valid point. Over the last couple of years, big thrill rides have become more accessible to younger children. This could be due to better seat and harness designs, or perhaps because many coasters nowadays aren't as intense as they used to be. On the other hand, family coasters have evolved even more, featuring much better layouts and elements. Personally, I believe there are a bunch of great new family coasters that are incredibly fun to ride, even though they might not be as intense. If this ride falls into that category, I'm absolutely looking forward to riding it one day. Additionally, it's worth considering that there are many adults who don't enjoy big coasters, so they might appreciate this one. However, Busch Gardens should still focus on thrill rides, as Disney and Universal are unbeatable in the family market.

@knosowski4 first coaster at BGT with onboard audio. BGT isn't big on themeing like Disney and Universal, but the rides more than makeup for it. A few queues need freshened up though for sure.
