Busch Gardens Williamsburg is a Gem!

This is my home park, I can't believe none of the fire was on for Escape from Pompeii! That's half the point of the ride, the ceiling is on fire, the statues are on fire, even some of the WATER itself is on fire! Sorry you guys missed that part! Glad you enjoyed the most beautiful park in the world

I will never get tired of watching Charlotte on water rides

I love the back of train povs. It helps me get a truer feel for the ride.

I read somewhere that apparently, the extra row on the front of Alpengeist is to prevent it from stalling on the zero G roll if it has to stop on the midcourse. Don't know how true that is, but it is amazing how much of a difference an extra bit of weight can make on any coaster.

I love how the smothering humidity and sweltering heat have helped Charlotte to appreciate the water rides a bit more.

This is probably my favorite park of your USA tour so far. Such a large selection and brilliant rides. Apollo and Darkoaster were amazing

You and Charlotte really compliment each other as far as reviews. You seem more reserve with how much you share of your critique of American parks and coasters while Charlotte, on the other hand, spares nothing. If she doesn't like it then it comes out of her mouth 4 times and her face shows her disgust. She tells you what she doesnt like too: too intense, too rough, boring..etc. In addition, I've learned that you both have different tolerance levels for intensity. You guys do well together. We all have have a Shawn, Charlotte or both in us. lol Thank u so much. BTW, you both have been part of my lifes history for 2023.... Now, I am saying brilliant a lot too. I can't say it enough. I used to say awesome but now that seems so boring. Brilliant it is! Thank u!!!!

This park definitely looks the part. I've never been, but looks like all around one of the prettier and more picturesque parks I have seen out there. The canopy of trees and views + interaction with the water on and off rides looks stunning.

Wow! This has got to be up there as one of the best, if not the best, vlog you have ever done. Absolutely everything works in this vlog and the timing on almost every shot is perfect. With roller coaster trains zipping by every time the camera is on. Beautiful! Beautiful vlog! You could really tell by Shawn’s intense “Helix! Helix! Helix!” on the junior coaster what an amazing time you were having. Brilliant.

This park looks so well themed! I didn't realize how great it looks, and makes it a real destination park, in my mind! I was there as a child, but too young to appreciate the beauty of the theming or anticipate the intensity and speed of the rides.

for me Busch is best for Christmas and Halloween. The decorations are amazing every time, especially if you love Halloween.

Thanks for this video. I'm a native of Washington DC and I've visited BG several times since the 1980s. I remember when many of those coasters were not there. I mostly remember in 1977 The Washington Post newspaper article talking about the upcoming Loch Ness Monster and how exciting it would be to ride it. Also, The Big Bad Wolf was a very popular coaster that was where Verboten is now. Prayerfully, I'll get there next year. 😊

I like when the park allows you to film a pov. It adds so much to the vlogs.

This was the vlog I've been waiting for! Love my hometown park. Yesterday had a night ride on Griffon during their fireworks display. Amazing experience!! So glad you guys had a great day at Busch Gardens! Also glad you got a POV at the junior coaster in the Sesame Street area. That coaster doesn't get talked about much when mentioning the different coasters there so I'm glad you've shown that it does exist!

Verbolton is definitely one my favorite rollercoaster ever! Just because it's so fun! It's like the Mummy for me , just good fun from start to end...

The car at 29:14 is from the LeMans ride that was there all throughout my childhood where you could drive gas powered cars around several diverging rail tracks. You could steer them yourself but the rail would keep you from driving them off course.

The deer animatronics on the train are amazing😁. We are planning a USA trip in 2025 and this Vlog series has been inspirational. Great work and thanks👍

This is my home park. I haven't been there since around '08 but they've added a whole lot. I really need to get back there. Alpengeist in the front row never got old and Apollo's Chariot still looks amazing and smooth.

I believe they change the music at night for the summer nights event. At night they turn it into like a party type atmosphere with djs and concerts on the weekends. The music changes in the evening also.

LOVE Busch Gardens. I went the first year it opened....I was three years old, and do remember bits and pieces of it.

This is one of my favorite parks. It's so lovely, and the rides are top notch.

Oh yeah, I was there the same day as you, and all of the effects were working on Pompeii at around 4:30, but then they turned off again. I really don’t know why they break sometimes. I’ve heard from employees that they need to fill up propane tanks pretty often

My dad took me there today and omg it was so fun. I’m really thankful for him. I loved all the roller coasters but the wood one was crazy.

There is supposed to be fire effects that pop on all around you during Pompeii, in the water on the ceiling and on either side. There are also large statues that fall over around you.

hey! Im 20 min from BG Williamsburg, couple little fun facts, 1)I used to go to BG 4 or 5 times a year from 2006-2018 and of all the times Ive been, I only seen Machtower open maybe 5 or 6 times . It would open for maybe an hour then close down again. Ride was terrible. 2) the Dark Coaster is a refurbished from Curse of Dark castle . It was an ok ride, more of a 4d experience . 3) Festhaus is ok food but its nothing compared to Italy's food 4) BG once was named (im not sure if it still is) the most beautiful parks in America . glad you enjoyed the park !

Pompeii usually has about 3 fire flares and statue that falls over the car- stopped by ledge from hitting you- then you plummet out.

I love Busch Gardens Tampa so great to see what the sister park is like. Makes me feel what Alton Towers could be like with better themeing and no ride height planning restrictions

This park is so incredible the rides the theming scenery shows and staff are so so good and I will add if you have the chance do the roller coaster insider tour it is one hundred percent worth it

I can’t believe the big USA trip is nearly at an end. What an adventure and amazing trip. The Alpengeist is amazing for a coaster and would just love to ride that. Some great dark rides here at the park. Awesome coasters and water rides too. Expensive food however. Great vlog TPW crew.
