Several operators use the bus station including Metroline on TfL route 81 from Hounslow, First Berkshire, Reading Buses and their Thames Valley subsidiary, and Chiltern Hundreds from High Wycombe. @bobhodgestransportDVDs

This is the first time I have seen this new bus station certainly a huge improvement on the old dull and dingy one in the basement of a multi-story car park.

Only one London bus 81?

The 81 is a very long established route that is one of a number that run well outside the Transport for London area, I looked at my London bus map for 1957 and the route was the same then as it is today although I think it goes back a lot further than that, to my knowledge it has always been a red (central area) route.
