A visit to the Black Country Living Museum at Dudley featuring a selection of Public Transport vehicles in action. This being my first trip on a Double deck Trolley bus since Brighton in the sixties. Wonderful experience!

Great Video !!! Also nice to see the trolleybuses on the road again We visited the Black Country Museum in the summer of 2011. Unfortunately there were no trolleybuses running after a brutal theft of some of the overhead wires. We made a trip with the tramcar.....

Yes I come from Brighton and I can tell you the number 44 trolleybus was the fastest thing up Elm Grove. I lived in Cliff Road just a short walk from the loop at the end of that route.

Thanks for your comment. It was great to go to the Black Country Museum and particularly to ride on a Trolley Bus again. Something I had not done since the late fifties - at Brighton!

Great video. I love these trolleybuses and am getting ready to pay a visit to Dayton Ohio as soon as possible. I have one question, is it true that the Black County Museum has a heritage trolleybus line that goes through the museum and actually goes out the the front gate to pick up museum visitors? I'm just curious. Thanks in advance for the answer.

The Black Country is a working Industrial Village Museum and is well worth a visit. When I went there nine years ago the Trolley Bus service ran from the Top terminus, near the Entrance Hall, to the Fairground. A return journey from the inside a Trolleybus is featured at the end of this Video
