BUSH HOOKS FOR BIG CATS - Full Day on the River

4 ай бұрынWe set out BUSH HOOKS to target some BIG CATFISH using the Hickory Shad as bait. Flathead and Blue Catfish are invasive to the rivers here in NC and they are delicious. This type of fishing is so much fun and proved to be very productive. I love being out in this unique habitat and seeing all of the different types of wildlife along the river...it's so peaceful and serene. Get out there and be somebody!

I have some great memories running limbhooks as a kid. Shad and stripers are a nice bonus.

I’m really glad to see y’all back on the . I always enjoy your videos . Looks like y’all got a good box of cats . It a shame you had to release the striper. Just one question what Creek/River were you on ??? I’m relatively new to the area, just trying to learn more about it. 😊

This was the Neuse, good fishing in most of the creeks round here. Fun doing something different.

@@palanwhitt1 there are health advisory’s for the fish in the Neuse up near wake county, none for the area where this was filmed. We ate them and shared with friends.

The roe is awesome, not a huge fan of the shad. Too many other good fish to eat. I’m not above it though…
