Love the history that the Bushes have with house and keeping everything in the family. Awesome that Duke is still around and that he visits the home. Thanks for the video and taking time to have the house open for all of us to see the beauty of the home and the renovation is done so well!!

All four of my Grandparents and Mother and Daddy worked there at Bush Brothers and I used to sell them White Corn from our Family Farm to make Hominy three miles away. Mama Exie Chaney was the first woman to make a Dollar a day breaking green beans, All Women were paid by the bucket and half of your money was keep back and you had to get supplies, furniture, clothes etc from the Company Store.

I like all the fireplaces and the big porches. I’m also glad they didn’t modernize the house , but left it to look “ old fashioned “ , like it should be. Thanks for an excellent job ❤

We were at the Bush place last Thursday, December 29th. We were staying in Gatlinburg and just decided to ramble some areas we have never seen before. We came from Gatlinburg to Cosby and Newport and actually stumbled on the Bush factory by chance. We toured the museum and store and walked around the beautiful grounds. The house in your video is beautiful. Thanks for answering some of the questions we had after visiting. Happy New Year from North Mississippi.

Thank you for a tour of the homestead. Always wondered what the inside looked like. Think about going to the corn bread festival and touring Lodge Cast iron it is only open to the public one day a year. Located in South Pittsburgh TN.

I remember the previous video on the tour of the museum and cafe. The house tour was awesome. I would love to have a house like that. The food looked great. I would try all three pies. This is a must do for us the next time we come back to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge.

They open the homestead to the public for about 3-4 days typically mid way though December every year. Thanks Diane!

My daughter and her husband live in a farmhouse built in 1910. They also renovated it. You will not find a better built home than those from that time period.

I hear there was 32,000 people at dollywood yesterday. They were expecting 16,000 which we decided not to go. I wish with a diamond pass we can get a free meal like the splash park im not saying like a buffet place like aunt granny's buy like pizza burger and a snack I would pay 50 dollars more to for that to happen at dollywood. And I thought I see your daughter before of course dollywood

Yes. The only beans I liked better, were the ones, my late mom would make. She a bean crock and would put that into the stove for quite a while. Have a fun & safe time travelling.
