Bertram - Craft and Wilderness

It's below freezing and I am enjoying an overnight in a pine forest next to the sea in Denmark. I turn a branch into rope and make a adjustable pot hanger, enjoy some meat and the comfy of reindeer skin and a new canvas tent and jacket. I make two types of "all night fires" a "Sami" nying and a upside-down-fire.
This is the long version of this video - here is the short version • BUSHCRAFT TRIP - BELOW...
_________________
Location: Denmark - previous viking country. West coast of Jutland - sand, big sea, spruce and pine forrest. Some of the most remote in Denmark, but a lot of people in Denmark so limited how remote it can get. A lot of birds and deer. No bears only a few wolves - nothing dangerous for campers. If you want to do the same in Denmark do you need to be the owner or get the owners permission.
_________________
Consuming: Water, spruce tea, chaga tea. Cow.

I've seen Nielsen smile on every video. I thought maybe the camera might bother him ... After I saw more videos, I realized that what I see was the inner peace, and the harmonies he was experiencing outdoors. I also noticed how important it was for the area to remain intact as it was before. I wish everyone would do that! In this film, it is not just "survival", but more - respect for the environment. Good job! ... Again ... :) Thank you very much. It was cool.

When you go far into the forest, when your phone is silent, it does not catch the signal, and the sleeping bag on the foam replaces your favorite bed! When your dinner is boiling in a black pot on a hot fire, and all your clothes are soaked through with smoke. You forget about all your problems, they simply do not exist, there is you and the silence of the forest! The silence from which is muffling. Your senses sharpen as you hear the wind, the rustle of grass, and leaves. The creaking of the trunks. At this moment, you feel that you are alive, you are alive now, you listen to your breath, your heart, Nothing can replace these feelings. You are cleansed of all that weighed on you yesterday. Just you and nature. And you're on your own. You're alive now, and that's all that matters. For this we go to the forest. To experience it, over and over again. Those who have experienced it will understand. Those who have not experienced it, still have everything ahead of them.

Cheers from Canada. Rune, it didn't take me very long to see you are a proven woodsman. I admire your bushcraft skills. You inspire me to try these crafts for myself. Thank you.
