On December 17th, 2023, 1 week before Christmas, a Bushfire sparked across the road from Erinvale. Not wanting to miss out filming a potential natural event this time round, Join Noah and the family as the events unfold.
In summary: While we did lose quite a bit of our good feed paddock and 2.5 kilometres of boundary fence, Erinvale is considered "Lucky" compared to our neighbours. Particularly the Chook farm, on which had several pine plantations and at least 100+ hectares of bush lost in the blaze.
We were very lucky to have 24+ Volunteer Fire Crews from the Moore River area, and DFES Crews from as far as Perth answer the call. The efforts of these brave people willing to drop everything to come help is simply AWESOME.
From the bottom of my heart and the hearts of my family and those who's properties were saved, we say thank you.
